Portal is a town in Bulloch County, Georgia, United States.

As of the census of 2000, there were 597 people.

 

 

The family moved to Portal sometime between 1915 and 1917, and started a general store business. Edith Litwack Lee, Ros Litwack Pleatman and Paul Litwack were born in Portal. Jack Lane and Herbert Markell were born in nearby Statesboro.
